We are a friendly, family run Nursery and Garden specialising in hardy cottage garden perennials, including many unusual and unique varieties as well as lots of the old favourites. All plants are grown by us on the nursery at 850 ft so what we offer to our customers are plants that are tried and tested - if they grow here with us then we are confident they will grow well with you !
Visitors are more than welcome to wander around our garden and stock beds which were established from a bare field in 2005, where you can see more mature specimens of many of the plants we have for sale on the nursery.
We are unable to accept credit/debit cards - we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Many thanks to everybody who came along on Sunday 31st July to our Open Day under Scotlands Garden Scheme. The weather was
fantastic and many of you commented on the wonderful atmosphere on the day. We were delighted to raise the grand total of £1726 for charity !! A great big thankyou to all of the people who helped us out on the day - we couldn't have done it without you !
Please note that the Nursery is now open under our later summer hours........ We are now closed on a Monday and Tuesday and are open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am until 4 - 30pm.
The nursery is part of our smallholding where we endeavour to live the “Good Life " - we grow our own fruit and vegetables and keep ducks, geese and chickens to supply us with eggs. The sheep are now retired and living out their days as they are all past it - a bit like us! They are an interesting bunch of old cardigans that litter the fields and have become firm favourites with many of our customers.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our customers who continue to support us each year !
Many thanks for your positive comments and reviews about our nursery - we are proud of what we have achieved here in a few short years and certainly have lots of new ideas for the future.
We sincerely hope that you all had a great season and we look forward to welcoming you again in 2016.
Margaret, Stevie, Emma and Tom.
